Agreement on Trade Continuity between Canada and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (CUKTCA)

The Agreement on Trade Continuity between Canada and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (CUKTCA) is modelled on the Canada–European Union Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) and uses the same parameters as of CETA; however, the new special program code must be used.

Same exemption codes under CETA are applicable here as well and include those for Business visitors, T43, T44, T46, T47, T48 (and T45 for spouses of intra-company transferees). Applications can be processed at the port of entry, or from within Canada or at Canadian missions abroad, if the applicant meets the conditions as per section 199 of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations.
